Graphic Design and Print Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Print Manager 50%

  • Act as staff lead in all print projects using LVPAC press and large-format printer for both internal and external customers. Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish to meet required deadlines. Communicate with clients regarding questions or issues.
  • Maintain printing inventory including paper, ink and other supplies.
  • Perform simple maintenance and schedule major maintenance on press printer, larger-format printer, and cutting machine.
  • Print, fold, trim, and package brochures, booklets, calendars, rack cards, postcards, flyers, posters, and any other printed materials.

Graphic Design/Layout  50%

  • Provide graphic design for banners, posters, flyers, brochures, booklets, cards, stationery, signs, and other printed materials as assigned.
  • Design online or digital marketing content such as digital displays, motion graphics (for video banners), icons, logos, and web content when requested.
  • Prepare art and order special items such as vinyl decals, hanging banners, envelopes, and other promotional items.
  • Download, crop, edit, and store promo photos as needed.


  • Two or more years of hands-on graphic design and print/production experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional and prepress process.
  • Experience working with print servers (e.g. Fiery.)
  • Knowledge of various paper mediums, printing and binding methods.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Responsible, organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to advancing arts and culture in the Tri-Valley area.
