“Every piece of art is a step to the next. I almost never sit down with an idea and write consciously, unless I’m writing a song for someone else. I start with a lyric or rhythm that sounds cool to me. I don’t try to draw linear connections.”

Read the rest of Lou Fancher’s fascinating interview in the East Bay Times with singer, songwriter, actress, writer and sheer force of nature Storm Large before she and her band Le Bonheur take the stage at the Bankhead Theater on Friday evening, May 19.  More information and great tickets available here.

We saw Storm Large perform with Pink Martini last year at the Bankhead Theater and were very impressed with her musical versatility and skills. She is an art form unto herself. It is wonderful to see her Cabernet Act in our “Neighborhood Theater” again this year. Every seat will provide you with an intimate feeling of being in a small club with her intensity of song and luminous performance. Thanks, LVPAC, for providing the Tri-Valley Area with such great entertainment at an affordable price!
